A proper shampoo bar, not a soap bar, will not ruin your hair. Shampoo bars can be better for your hair than liquid shampoo which can contain up to 80% water.

Try not to use shampoo every day, as washing too frequently can strip the hair, leaving it brittle and prone to breakage. Aim to wash every other day at the most, or wait a few days between shampoos if you're able.
