There is a consistent set of programs that UNICEF is developing that aim to protect and promote the well-being of children and their families who’ve become war victims. That is why Bam&Boo has decided to support their initiatives, guaranteeing your donation is contributing to:

Safe Water

• UNICEF is offering transportation that allows war victims to access safe water.
• It is guaranteed that safe water and hygiene services are part of schools, community areas and community hosts.

Health Care

• It is ensured that not only medical and surgical equipment but also medication is delivered to hospitals and health care institutions.
• UNICEF offers mobile health units that provide essential medical care in the most affected regions.
• Local health facilities have been supported by receiving equipment and expanding emergency care areas.

Child Protection

• Warm Clothes are being distributed to children of all age groups, as well as institutional hygiene kits, disinfectants, and bottled water to health and social institutions in eastern Ukraine.
• UNICEF has thirteen mobile teams on the field that provide psychosocial support to children and their caregivers, and accompany more vulnerable cases, like institutional children.
• Professionals are being trained to identify children in vulnerable situations, preventing cases of sexual abuse and exploitation.
• UNICEF is helping families financially, with a humanitarian aid program.

Education

• Professors and volunteers are trained in order to offer emotional and psychological support, developing necessary skills to create emergency plans.
• UNICEF offers educational kits, allowing caregivers to help children dealing with conflict.

Other

• Multipurpose non-food items are distributed, like tents, mattresses, disposable bags and so on.
