  • These Bamboo Interdental Brushes were carefully designed to help clean even the most difficult spots.

Our brushes are made from Moso Bamboo (FSC Certified), a renewable source that requires few resources to develop without the addition of any chemicals or pesticides. It’s also naturally antibacterial, making bamboo the best choice not only for the environment but also for your oral care.

Brushing your teeth with a toothbrush is usually not enough to get a balanced oral hygiene. So we recommend combining these with our Bamboo Toothbrush and Toothpaste.

If you have already tried using interdental brushes and you aren’t a fan, don’t worry! We have the perfect solution for you with our dental floss

    1. Remove the brush bristles with a pair of pliers or tweezers and throw them into a plastic recycling bin.
    2. Go for stroll in the city park and stick them in the soil.
    3. The box encasing the brushes is made from paper - no glue, no tape - so it is easily recyclable in the proper container.

    I recommend this product

An environmentally efficient alternative to hard-to-recicle, plasticky dental brushes

The three sizes cover pretty much all kind of interdental spaces. Once used, a simple pair of pliers will let you detach the bamboo handle from the metal core that holds the brushes, so that the former can be composted and the latter recycled (at least the metal part. The need for a tool to separate the parts is the only reason why I gave the product four stars instead of five. Otherwise, definitely recommended.

Hi Paolo! Thank you so much for your kind review ☺️ we completely understand your comments regarding the use of pliers, however sometimes it is a compromise we need to make so that we can better help the environment

    Lovely product

These are so much better than the plastic ones. The tip is firm enough to dislodge food from your teeth. I would recommend

Hi Rosie! We totally agree! Our interdental brushes are a much better alternative to plastic :) Thank you so much

As good as plastic ones but with the advantage of being environmentally friendly

Just as good and less damaging to the environment.

    More options needed

Only the smallest ones are the right size for me, so I'd want to buy only them. Don't want to buy a pack which of 2/3 is useless to me. Otherwise would have reordered. Also a bigger pack would be good - like 15-20 brushes. It'd be good if the brushes were "sturdier" - at least the smallest size bends at the base (where the brush attaches to the bamboo bit) too easily and gets hard to use. But to be fair that is ALWAYS the problem with ALL similar products. It's difficult because the brush needs to be thin enough - someone should figure out how to make it sturdier at the base while otherwise thin.

Hi Nina! Let us thank you for your incredible feedback! Actually, we totally understand your point and your ideas are completely on the table. Please note this product is pretty recent in our family and hence, we are still trying to find the best approach! Moreover, this type of packaging is considered to be the most sustainable, as we can offer different brushes sizes at the same time what not only allows us to satisfy a wide part of our community (families), but also those people who need different brushes sizes for different spaces between teeth. Once again, thank you so much for your comment. It was totally enriching :)

    Frequently Asked Questions

How many times can you use an Interdental Brush?

Use your interdental brushes once or twice a day to clean between your teeth, remembering to use these brushes at the same time that you usually brush your teeth.

Should we use Interdental Brushes before or after brushing?

Research has shown interdental cleaning before brushing is the best way to clean our teeth effectively. The study found that flossing loosens bacteria and food debris from between the teeth, which allows brushing to be much more successful at removing plaque.

    Can Interdental Brushes damage teeth?

Dentists point to the fact that floss can sometimes cut into gums and damage them, while the interdental brush doesn't do that. However, some places will only allow access by floss, and your dentist will indicate this if needed.

Are Interdental Brushes as good as floss?

Interdental brushes serve as an alternative to flossing; they can be used daily and can be more effective for inter-proximal plaque removal than floss as suggested by a number of studies.

How do I know what size Interdental Brush I need?

Choose the brush size according to the size of the gaps between your teeth. If you choose an interdental brush that does not fit between your teeth, do not try to force it in, but try a smaller size.

    Can you reuse Interdental Brushes?

You can reuse interdental brushes but discard the brush when the bristles are becoming bent or worn.

    Tips on using Interdental Brushes

Gum tissue responds to care, so give them lots of attention.

Never push! Try a smaller sized brush instead.

To clean thoroughly, you will most likely need to use a few different sizes.

Once through the gap, move the brush horizontally.

Use floss between the very close planes of your teeth.

Interdental brushes work best when used as often as a regular brush.

For the back teeth, bend the wire gently – be careful, or it may snap!
