Our toothpaste and bamboo toothbrushes are climate neutral! YEAH!
The Bam&Boo toothpaste is the first climate neutral product in the world and the bamboo toothbrush is the first climate neutral product in Portugal, both certified by Climate Partner. This is a milestone for both companies. And we are extremely happy to share it with our community.
It took us 3 steps to make an important contribution to climate protection as well as promote the social and economic situation of local people. And we are so proud of this extra mile!
In cooperation with ClimatePartner we calculate the CO2 emissions generated during the extraction of raw materials, production and delivery to the customer of our The Bam&Boo Toothbrush and Natural Toothpaste annually.
Our products get the label "climate neutral". Indeed a landmark in our service.

Who is ClimatePartner?
It is a solutions provider that incorporates climate protection, combining individual consulting with cloud-based software that is unique on the market.
It was founded in Munich in 2006. It works with about 2,000 companies in 35 countries.
This company offers carbon offset projects in different regions and with different technologies and standards. The additional social benefits of the projects are particularly important, revolving around the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.
Why did we choose ClimatePartner?
Because in a nutshell, they calculated the amount of CO2 emissions that The Bam&Boo Toothbrush, our best selling product, roughly generates every single year in the production and distribution process.
Plus, they immediately offered certified solutions for climate protection, helping to reduce and offset our unavoidable carbon emissions. How incredible is that? We proudly invite you to check our offset confirmation here.
What is Climate Neutral, after all?
Companies, processes, and products are climate neutral when their carbon emissions are calculated and offset with the support of internationally recognized carbon offset projects.
Avoiding and reducing carbon emissions is important but offsetting is as crucial for comprehensive climate protection.
We have started by certifying our best selling product, The Bam&Boo Toothbrush, and our beloved launch, The Bam&Boo Natural Toothpaste. But we certainly aim to certify more products of our sustainable catalogue in the near future.
What is a carbon offset project?
Carbon offset projects demonstrably reduce greenhouse gases and make an important contribution to fighting global warming.
Furthermore, they promote sustainable development in the project countries, for example by improving clean drinking water supplies, expanding local infrastructures, creating jobs, or protecting biodiversity.
What offset project are we supporting?
With the help of our amazing community, we’ve selected Forest Protection in Santa Maria, Brazil.
Forest protection is close to our hearts. We are also planting one tree per day.
Preserving 71,000 hectares of the Brazilian Amazon rainforest from deforestation and slash-and-burn accounts greatly for UN sustainable development goals (SDGs).
Keeping plastic waste from entering the oceans is definitely a major brake on climate protection. Plastic Bank is the globally recognized social enterprise in the Philippines dedicated to a sustainable recycling ecosytem: to stop the flow of plastic into the ocean, to process collected plastic into new raw material which leads to producing environmentally and ethical products, and finally to create a sustainable and circular economy for the local people.
How can you be part of this journey?
You already have a leading role in this eco-journey!
We simply want to reinforce that climate protection is easy.
You don’t need to completely change your way of life or consumer habits.
You just have to make climate-conscious decisions and look for services and products that protect the earth and improve the lives of people in developing countries.
